B'nai Mitzvah

Becoming a Jewish adult is a step on every Jewish journey.  Preparation for the service to celebrate this joyous and holy celebration is included in our Religious School education, through B'Yachad, our joint Religious School with Temple Beth El).  To ensure the inclusion of the young person in our community, we have the following requirements:

• Sinai Temple membership for the student and their family for a minimum of 24 months prior to the service.  For example if your celebration service is scheduled for October 2027, you must maintain membership beginning no later than October 2025.
• Registration in the religious school for a minimum of the year of the service and the two previous grades.  If your child’s service date is during the 7th grade, they must be registered and attend 5th, 6th, and 7th grades.
