Baruch Haba! Welcome to Sinai Temple! We are so glad that you are here!

Since you have come to this page, it probably means you are either a new member of our congregation or you are considering becoming a part of us.
Who are we?  We are a holy family, one in which our members are connected to each other by a commitment to all the wonderful things our congregation is about.   Here is what our mission statement says:

Sinai Temple is a welcoming and inclusive Reform Congregation where our members pursue a continuing journey of Jewish growth. We are guided by the history and traditions of the Jewish people as we encounter the challenges of the modern world. We encourage participation in prayer, life-long Jewish learning, and social justice within a joyful, creative, and compassionate community.
And in that we are growing.  We are growing as a group because of people as you who come to us.  We are growing as individuals because of what we are able to give to each other.

Sinai Temple…   This is a place for learning.  It is a place for praying.  It is a place for celebrating.  It is a place for sharing.
And because we are a family, we laugh with each other in our happy moments.  And, in moments sad, we cry with each other too.  And through it all, we try always to be sensitive to the needs of all of the people who are part of us.

So think of Sinai Temple as your home.   It’s a spiritual home, certainly.  But it’s also a home in which you can share with the many people who are part of us.  And most, important, always remember that we treasure your presence for what you bring to us.  And know that we will constantly endeavor to provide for whatever it is you tell us you need.

So, again, baruch haba, welcome to Sinai Temple.  May your being with us and being a part of us bring richness and fulfillment to your life in all of the ways our congregation can provide.

You Can Be a Vital Part of Our Community!

Welcome to those of you who have newly joined Sinai Temple as well as those who are considering joining. Both are major milestones in your Jewish journey and we are happy that you have chosen Sinai as an integral part of that journey.

We hope that you find joy and comfort, spirituality, and new friends in our Community.

There are two ways of accomplishing this. The first is through attending Shabbat and holiday celebrations and, for those of you who are new members, by joining a committee and working closely with other Sinai members.
